Logsafe (the "App") is a mobile application that helps employees log their attendance and leaves. This Privacy Policy describes how the App collects, uses, and shares information about users of the App ("Users").

1. Information Collected by the App

The App may collect information about Users in various ways, including:

• Information that Users provide when they create an account, such as their name, email address, and password.
• Information that Users provide when they use the App, such as their location, device information, and usage information.
• Information that the App collects automatically, such as device information, usage information, and log information.

2. Location Tracking

The App may collect location information about Users in the following ways:

• Most employers need location when employees are checking in or checking-out. When the employer doesn't choose to track the location throughout office hours, then it will be captured only when checking-in and checking-out of the office.
• The Employer can choose to track the location, during the working hours, after they check-in and only until they check-out. This will be enabled only after explicit consent of Employer and the Employee. The location will not be tracked outside of the office hours. In such cases, application will require access to location, only during office hours, when application is in use or closed or not in use. Employees can still choose to refuse consent, however, this will render the application non-functional.
• All the location data will be deleted periodically.
• All the location data will be encrypted at rest, which will lead to enhanced data protection.
• All the location data will be stored in the servers location in the employee's respective country.

3. Use of Information

The App may use the information collected from Users for various purposes, including:

• To provide and improve the App's features and functionality.
• To communicate with Users about the App and related products and services.
• To personalize the App's content and advertising.
• To prevent fraud and abuse of the App.
• To comply with legal requirements and protect the rights and safety of Users and others.

4. Sharing of Information

The App may share information collected from Users in the following ways:

• With service providers who perform services on behalf of the App, such as hosting, data analysis, and customer service.
• With law enforcement and other government agencies when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Users and others.
• None of the data stored from the employees will be shared with a third party or company that is not the direct employer of the application user.

5. Your Choices

Users can control certain information that the App collects and uses by adjusting their device settings or by contacting the App's support team. However, some features of the App may not be available if certain information is not provided.

6. Security

The App takes reasonable measures to protect the information collected from Users from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

The App may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
